Frequently Asked Questions

Thank you for your interest in booking an appointment with me.  Please read all of the FAQs, then visit the booking page for more information before completing the form on that page to begin the booking process.

I work out of my own private studio in a clean and safe environment in ATL. Upon confirmation of your booked appointment you will be sent the exact details of the location.

I also do a spring/early summer tour from ATL to NYC, making stops in NC, VA, Philly and NJ. If you're in those areas, like my work and want to link up, drop a line so we can plan.

*NOTE: There are quite a few stairs to hike to get to the studio, so if you have any accessibility concerns,  please make a note of that in the availability section of the booking request form to discuss Sunday appointments which  I set aside to be mobile for such situations.

For flash pieces the price will already be predetermined.

My hourly rate at this time is  approximately $75/hr.  However,  I prefer to price by the piece so that there are no surprises for you and so that I'm not pressured to rush through a piece.

I'm still a grasshopper who needs more practice and I know this economy is no joke right now, so I'm open to find creative ways to work with your budget.

If your project requires multiple sessions,  you will need to make an appointment at least once a month or every other month minimum until our project together is complete.

Multiple days in a row can also be made available for  select clients and projects.

For flash  I require a $50 non-refundable deposit. For custom designs I require a $100 non-refundable deposit  after your free consultation to lock in your appointment and begin working on your project.

I also offer "Pain Free" sessions which can be selected on the Booking Request Form. These sessions will be an additional $25/session which includes applying a Numbing Cream an hour PRIOR  to and Numbing Spray  throughout our session together. This is to be paid along with your deposit to compensate for the extra time and materials required for this type of session.  You probably already know this but tattooing is a painful  process but if I can help minimize some of the discomfort involved in completing your piece, then I'm all for it!

For deposits, I accept PayPal. On the day of the tattoo, Cash is definitely preferred to minimize digital fees. However, I also accept  Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay, CashApp and all Major Credit Cards.

I have an affinity for  (Neo) Japanese,  Afro-Americana, (Neo) Traditional, Black Work and Lettering/Script. However because I am still discovering my own unique style and rhythm, I am hungry for just about any style thrown my way.

Other preferred subject matter or styles I'm interested in doing more of:

  • Flora (flowers, plants, trees, fungi and herbs)
  • Fauna (different animals)
  • Characters or elements from video games/cartoons/anime/manga
  • Tattoo Cover Ups, Reworks and Scars (will be determined on a case by case basis)
  • Big Bold Color pieces on melanated skin

Yes, consultations are free and unless it is a major piece we're working on together will only be done via e-mail to keep us on the same page throughout the process.

Schedule permitting and depending upon the complexity of the designs, I may be able to complete a maximum of 2 designs per session.

I prefer to conduct one-on-one sessions so I can focus on you having the most pleasant experience possible. However I also innerstand how important it is to have moral support and input. If it is absolutely necessary to bring a guest, please check the proper box on the Booking Request Form.

Please read the Prep/Aftercare page for more information.

General etiquette is to tip 20% of the total tattoo cost. Tips are greatly appreciated but not expected as getting a tattoo can be a big investment making budgeting tricky.  However, some other ways you can show your appreciation for my services would be to give me a positive review  and/or paying with cash.

With the exception of the neck, hands, fingers and feet, I offer lifetime -free touch ups. Being that I haven't been in the game that long, it is important to me to see how my work heals over the years and what I need to do to improve my technique to stand the test of time. When contacting me for a touch up, please take a picture of the tattoo and what you'd like touched up.

If you're not yet ready to submit a booking request but have a question that has not been answered above, please e-mail me directly  at naqiink@gmail.com.
